Baseball Recap: Williamsport Beats Holy Redeemer for Their Fifth Straight Win

Williamsport had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They put the hurt on the Holy Redeemer Royals with a sharp 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Millionaires, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Williamsport got a big performance out of Christian Franzen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Deshaun White was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Williamsport was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Williamsport pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Holy Redeemer, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.
