Sonoraville won the last time they faced North Murray and things went their way on Saturday too. The Phoenix came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Phoenix.

Their offense was headlined by Jazmine Hunter and Brylee Cordell, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Jenica Glosson and her 17 assists. Hunter and Glosson didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Sonoraville's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for North Murray, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Sonoraville has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Southeast Whitfield County on the 16th. As for North Murray, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against LaFayette on the 18th.
