Weed and Trinity are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2022, but likely not for long. The Cougars are taking a road trip to take on Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Weed is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Modoc just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Trinity was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to Mt. Shasta.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Weed, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-6.

Weed took their win against Trinity in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
