Soccer Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short

The Marquette Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Blue Valley West Jaguars on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Marquette's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Blue Valley West, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Marquette will square off against Howell Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blue Valley West, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bishop Miege at 7:15 p.m. on October 2.
