Baseball Recap: Workman Takes a Loss

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ganesha Giants, falling 25-0. The Lobos lost against the Giants in their previous head to head back in March of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 9-5 score last time.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ganesha, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Workman will challenge La Puente at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ganesha, they will face off against Bassett at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bassett has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.83 runs per game on average), something Ganesha will no doubt try to take advantage of.
