Recap: Rains Wildcats vs. Prairiland Patriots
Make it 16 blowout wins for the Rains Wildcats this season. They breezed by Prairiland on the road to the tune of 71-16. Rains is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 15 straight.
Jasey Campbell was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with six assists and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Piles, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Rains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season. As for Prairiland, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-14.
Rains will take on Lone Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lone Oak will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 830th, while Rains is ranked 65th). As for Prairiland, they will head out on the road to challenge Commerce at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
