Preview: Farmington Tigers vs. Chanhassen Storm
The Farmington Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Chanhassen Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Farmington pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Mayo by a score of 59-57.
Meanwhile, Chanhassen pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prior Lake. Chanhassen has not had much luck with Prior Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Lyla Hentges, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Arnold, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
Farmington's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Mayo's defeat dropped them down to 2-1.
Farmington suffered a grim 68-48 defeat to Chanhassen in their previous meeting back in January. Can Farmington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
