Soccer Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short

Stafford managed to keep up with Brazosport until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Stafford Spartans came up short against the Brazosport Exporters, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Exporters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Stafford has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season. Brazosport's victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Stafford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brazosport will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bay City at 6:30 p.m. on March 21st.
