Briggs entered their tilt with Columbus International on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lions 23-4. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 15 runs or more this season.

Briggs' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Columbus International, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Briggs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 win against Marion-Franklin on the 11th. Columbus International has also already played their next contest (against Mifflin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
