New Salem won the last time they faced Center-Stanton and things went their way on Monday too. The New Salem Holsteins had just enough and edged the Center-Stanton Wildcats out 39-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Holsteins.

New Salem has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. As for Center-Stanton, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

New Salem will host Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Center-Stanton has already played their next contest (against Hebron-Glen Ullin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
