Baseball Recap: South Johnston Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

South Johnston won against North Johnston last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Trojans never let the Smithfield-Selma Spartans get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

South Johnston pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games.
