Fulton's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Marshall Owls by a score of 55-42. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 67-64 victory last Saturday.

Marshall lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brody Kueker, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. What's more, he also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Deacon Arends, who scored seven points along with six assists and three blocks.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Marshall, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fulton will challenge Kirksville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-44 loss against Mexico on the 10th.
