It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pine-Richland can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spring-Ford on Saturday. Pine-Richland's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Pine-Richland had strong showings from Ella Learish, who had nine digs, and Megan DeKunder, who had eight digs and three assists.

Spring-Ford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alanna Bricker, who had 14 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Lola Dirico, who had 12 digs.

Pine-Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Spring-Ford, the win keeps them at an undefeated 30-0.

As of now, neither Pine-Richland nor Spring-Ford have any future games scheduled.
