Volleyball Game Preview: Great Bridge Wildcats vs. Indian River Braves + How To Watch

The Great Bridge Wildcats will head out to challenge the Indian River Braves at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Great Bridge didn't have quite enough to beat Grassfield and fell 3-2. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Indian River got the win against Nansemond River on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

While Indian River won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-22.

Indian River's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Great Bridge, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Great Bridge couldn't quite get it done against Indian River when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
