After losing to McIntosh the last time they met, Banneker decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Banneker Trojans enjoyed a cozy 60-41 win over the McIntosh Chiefs on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Banneker is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for McIntosh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Banneker and McIntosh could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Banneker will square off against Langston Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 339 places (343 vs. 4). Similarly, McIntosh (ranked 295th) will meet Morrow (ranked 43rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
