Frankfort had lost 16 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-19 to make it 17. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-0 to the Western Boone Stars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Western Boone, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by ten runs or more this season.

For Western Boone's part, Mickey Burns made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Burns has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Addi Lee was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenzlei Mathews, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Coming up, Frankfort will head out on the road to take on Crawfordsville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Boone, they will welcome Guerin Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
