Baseball Game Preview: Fisher Gators vs. Thomas Jefferson

For the second straight game, Fisher will face off against Thomas Jefferson. The Gators will be playing at home against Thomas Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Fisher will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Thomas Jefferson on Monday. The Gators put the hurt on Thomas Jefferson with a sharp 12-6 victory. Considering the Gators have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Bourgeois was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Shamp, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Thomas Jefferson is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18. As for Fisher, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8-1.
