Soccer Game Preview: Brookings-Harbor vs. Gold Beach

The Brookings-Harbor Bruins will take on the Gold Beach Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookings-Harbor's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Brookings-Harbor is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Cascade Christian just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. Neither they nor the Challengers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Brookings-Harbor happy, as they haven't lost a game since October 2nd.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Gold Beach's offense. They lost 8-0 to Umpqua Valley Christian on Friday.

With that draw, Brookings-Harbor's record moves to 6-4-1. As for Gold Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went Brookings-Harbor's way against Gold Beach in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, as Brookings-Harbor made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
