Volleyball Recap: Glynn Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Glynn Academy was the 2-0 winner over Effingham County when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Terrors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels on Saturday.

While Glynn Academy was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Glynn Academy still got an impressive performance from Kara Burandt, who had ten digs and five assists.

Glynn Academy's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 26-14. As for Effingham County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-19.

Glynn Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Greenbrier on the 11th. As for Effingham County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against South Effingham on the 11th.
