Softball Recap: Jersey Village Takes a Loss

Jersey Village lost against Stratford back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost 16-1 to the Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Jersey Village saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camdyn Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Jersey Village has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Stratford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jersey Village will challenge Cypress Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratford, they will face off against Cy-Fair at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
