Hazel Park's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Fitzgerald Spartans. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Madison Platt (2027) was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off only two hits (and only one walk). Platt (2027) was also big at the plate, earning two runs and three stolen bases.

In other batting news, La'Onna Otis (2027) was a standout: she went 1-for-5 with six stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Camilla Polanco (2029), who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.

Hazel Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fitzgerald only posted a batting average of .059.
