Softball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-2 to the Amundsen Vikings.

Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Miehlich, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Liv Trendel was another, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Amundsen, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Trinity will head out to face off against Fenwick at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amundsen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
