             The Lakeland Hawks will challenge the Shelley Russets at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lakeland knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Shelley likes a good challenge.
 Lakeland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Idaho's top teams: Lewiston, who was ranked 21st  in their home state at the time (Lakeland was ranked tenth). Lakeland put the hurt on Lewiston with a sharp  34-14 victory on Friday. Considering the Hawks have won six games by more than 19  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Lakeland had a senior duo take command as  Kage (Lovie) Weil rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns and  Haydon Benson rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Those 88  rushing yards gave  Benson a new career-high.
 Meanwhile, Shelley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Friday as they fell  20-14 to Blackfoot.
 Lakeland pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Shelley, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season.
