Preview: St. Clair vs. Vashon
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Clair. They and Vashon go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff game of the year. St. Clair know how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Vashon like a good challenge.
St. Clair brought a three-game winning streak into their matchup against Owensville last Friday; they left with a four-game streak. St. Clair took their matchup against Owensville by a conclusive 49-15 score. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for St. Clair, who can brag about six blowout wins.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-47, which was the final score in Vashon's tilt against St. Louis University.
St. Clair's victory lifted them to 8-1 while Vashon's loss dropped them down to 1-8. We'll see if St. Clair's success rolls on or if Vashon are able to steal their positive momentum.
