Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Karnes City against Robstown on Friday as the team secured a 59-26 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Badgers.

Karnes City's win came from a few key players Prairie Lea will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hunter Mayes, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Savion Nixon-Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds.

Karnes City now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Prairie Lea, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
