Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dr. Phillips). They never let the Evans Trojans onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Trojans are ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Dr. Phillips and bumps their season record up to 2-0-2. As for Evans, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Dr. Phillips didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against East River on the 10th. Evans has also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Apopka on the 9th.
