Football Recap: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. Pius X Thunderbolts
A win for Standing Bear just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of the Pius X Thunderbolts. The defeat leaves the Grizzlies without a win on the season.
Leading Pius X to victory were Joseph Andreasen and Kolbe Volkmer. Andreasen rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while Volkmer rushed for 75 yards on only seven carries.
