Soccer Game Preview: Liberty Christian vs. Union City

The Liberty Christian Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Union City Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Liberty Christian will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against GEO Next Generation on Friday. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 6-1 victory. With Liberty Christian ahead 4-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Union City kept a clean sheet against Anderson Prep Academy on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Jets. It was an even better day for Eduin Garcia Velasquez as he scored three goals for his team.

Liberty Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Union City, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
