Brady came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Hamilton 13-3. Considering Brady has won five games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Layla Virdell made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February of 2025.
In other batting news, Raegan Fletcher was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one double. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Torrez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
