Waynesfield-Goshen had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Bremen Cardinals on Monday.
Waynesfield-Goshen saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jace Kaufman, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Waynesfield-Goshen will head out on the road to square off against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Bremen, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Houston at 5:00 p.m.
