Softball Game Preview: South Hadley Tigers vs. Pittsfield Generals

The South Hadley Tigers will square off against the Pittsfield Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsfield took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on South Hadley, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, South Hadley needed a bit of extra time to put away East Longmeadow. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spartans, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Pittsfield came up short against Hampshire Regional on Monday, falling 9-3. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paxton Ebling was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Bassi, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The win got South Hadley back to even at 4-4. As for Pittsfield, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
