Softball Recap: Indian Creek Redskins vs. Cambridge Bobcats        
        
		
            
 Indian Creek put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cambridge Bobcats  an   8-0 shutout. Indian Creek's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  run in their last three  matches.
  Trinity Taylor was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Taylor was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4. She hasn't dropped below three  hits for four straight games.
 In other batting news,  Emma Vok was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kylie Dray, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Indian Creek has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season. As for Cambridge,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-4-1.
 Indian Creek will stay at home for another  game and welcome Dover at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Indian Creek: 2.9, Dover: 1.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Cambridge, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Edison at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Cambridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1  runs per game  this season.
