Milford hadn't done well against Piute recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Milford Tigers walked away with a 58-51 win over the Piute Thunderbirds. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Leading Milford to victory were Kielen Tsosie and Sadler Barnes. Tsosie dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards, while Barnes posted 20 points and five steals. Barnes' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kason Kesler was another key player, putting up four points and seven rebounds.

Milford pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Piute, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Milford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 87-24 win against Mount Vernon on the 16th. Piute has also already played their next game (against Wayne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
