Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Point). They put the hurt on the Westlake Wolverines with a sharp 17-1 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Alyssa Blaney was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
