Baseball Recap: Delano Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Delano lost 14-1 to Wasco. Delano has struggled against Wasco recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Delano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Armando Nunez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Delano's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wasco, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Delano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against California City on the 5th. As for Wasco, they will challenge Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
