            Baseball Recap: Fairfield Falcons vs. Westview Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Fairfield dropped their record down to 18-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins at home. They fell  5-2 to the Westview Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the  13-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
 Fairfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Eli Miller, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Westview, they now  have a winning record of 11-10. Five seems to be a good number for they as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 On Westview's side,  Maverick Deveau was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  hits gave  Deveau a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Owen Weinberg, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double.
 Coincidentally, Fairfield and Westview will both be playing Norwell the next time they take the field. The Warriors will  host the Knights at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 5:30  p.m.
