Soccer Game Preview: Raymond vs. Derryfield

Raymond is 7-1 against Derryfield since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will square off against the Cougars. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Raymond sitting on nine straight wins and Derryfield on three.

Raymond is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Prospect Mountain. Raymond might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Derryfield kept a clean sheet against Kearsarge on Tuesday. They blew past Kearsarge 3-0. Give Derryfield's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Derryfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Raymond, their win bumped their record up to 16-0-1.
