Lewis County and Raceland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Lewis County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over Augusta. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Myla Clark was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Clark was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Egbert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Grace Switzer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
