McDowell has gone 8-2 against Freedom recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for McDowell and eight for Freedom.

McDowell came up short against Watauga on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

McDowell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Freedom lost 3-0 to Alexander Central on Tuesday.

While Freedom was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12, 25-16.

McDowell now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

McDowell beat Freedom 3-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
