Softball Recap: Arvin Comes Up Short

Arvin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the North Stars. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Ava Velazquez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Arvin's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Arvin beat the Stars by a score of 19-5 on Thursday.
