Volleyball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton lost against Raton back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellowjackets fell 3-1 to the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-27, 25-21, 25-12.

Clayton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Raton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Clayton is taking a road trip to take on Estancia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Raton, they will welcome Pecos at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games the Panthers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
