Softball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles vs. Warner Christian Academy Eagles
Calvary Chapel Academy barely beat Warner Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Calvary Chapel Academy never let Warner Christian Academy get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Calvary Chapel Academy considering their two-run performance the match before.
Savannah Buckingham and Nikole Bristol did most of the damage at the plate: Buckingham scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances, while Bristol scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Bristol a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Amberly Ramos, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
