Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jonathan Marucci and Aidyn Lundy Lead Blair County Christian to Victory

Blair County Christian won the last time they faced Clearfield Alliance Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Blair County Christian Bobcats blew past Clearfield Alliance Christian 53-32. The Bobcats pushed the score to 49-25 by the end of the third, a deficit Clearfield Alliance Christian cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Blair County Christian to victory were Aidyn Lundy and Jonathan Marucci. Lundy dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards, while Marucci went 9 for 17 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. Lundy is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's played. Donovan Bickings also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Blair County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

Blair County Christian's record is now 7-11. As for Clearfield Alliance Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Blair County Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. Clearfield Alliance Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
