Basketball Recap: Jupiter's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Jupiter won against Xaverian last Saturday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Jupiter Warriors walked away with a 59-50 victory over the Palm Beach Gardens Gators. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Gators are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Palm Beach Gardens lost, don't look at Sam Thomas. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 9 on his way to 17 points. Christian Laurore was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win (which was Jupiter's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
