Morse came up into this matchup off a tough 35-point defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Leavitt by a score of 48-45 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Shipbuilders have suffered since January 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, Mount View came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Eagles.

Mount View pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Morse, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
