Volleyball Recap: Centennial Huskies vs. Chino Hills Huskies
Fans were treated to a battle of the Huskies on Thursday. Centennial put the hurt on Chino Hills with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Centennial.
While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.
Jordyn Wilson paced Centennial's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wilson got some help from Londyn Neal and her 32 assists. Mckenna Giles controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the loss, Chino Hills had strong showings from Edith Leung, who had five digs and three aces, and Yanizza Gutierrez, who had ten digs and one assist. Leung is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
