Volleyball Recap: Centennial Has No Trouble Against Chino Hills + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Huskies on Thursday. Centennial put the hurt on Chino Hills with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Centennial.

While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.

Jordyn Wilson paced Centennial's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wilson got some help from Londyn Neal and her 32 assists. Mckenna Giles controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Chino Hills had strong showings from Edith Leung, who had five digs and three aces, and Yanizza Gutierrez, who had ten digs and one assist. Leung is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory got Centennial back to even at 2-2. As for Chino Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Centennial will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Great Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chino Hills, they will square off against Glendora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
