Soccer Game Preview: Plano vs. Plano East

Plano and Plano East are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Plano challenge the Plano East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Plano came up short against McKinney Boyd on Friday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Broncos are ranked 152nd).

Meanwhile, Plano East kept a clean sheet against Rock Hill on Friday. They skirted past the Blue Hawks 1-0. The Panthers' winning goal came courtesy of Logan Potter.

Plano East's win bumped their record up to 4-2-2. As for Plano, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1.
