Softball Recap: West Rutland Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Rutland strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Poultney Blue Devils with a sharp 20-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-1 last Thursday.

West Rutland pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Poultney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, West Rutland will take on Windsor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Golden Horde's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Poultney, they will challenge Mill River at 11:00 a.m. on the 26th.
