Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley View). They never let the Hemet Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Valley View is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven games. As for Hemet, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Valley View will venture away from home to challenge Poly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Poly's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hemet, they will be playing at home against Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
