Basketball Recap: Patrick Thompson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lausanne Collegiate over Evangelical Christian

Lausanne Collegiate lost against Evangelical Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx fell 49-36 to the Evangelical Christian Eagles. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Lynx players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Patrick Thompson, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Zuri Mcclure, who scored eight points and six boards.

Lausanne Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Evangelical Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lausanne Collegiate will square off against Northpoint Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lausanne Collegiate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for Evangelical Christian, they will face off against St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
